How to set up a live photo wall at your wedding

Arrange the screen with your venue

You need a TV or projector and a computer that can open your wedding’s screen link in a browser. Ask what the venue provides, which connections are available and who can help on the day.

Plan for reliable power and internet. Check the cable and any adapter with the actual computer. If using wireless screen sharing, test that specific setup at the venue. The camera service does not supply the screen itself.

Rehearse the complete journey

Open your wedding and find its screen link. Keep the host controls on your own phone; show only the photo wall on the venue screen.

1. Connect the computer to the screen and open the screen link.
2. Choose full screen and check the picture is positioned correctly.
3. Scan your wedding’s QR code on another phone.
4. Take and share a photo, then wait for the upload to finish.
5. Confirm the photo appears according to your visibility choices.
6. Check the computer’s screen saver, notifications and power settings.

Decide what you want to show

By default, each guest gets 24 photos for the live wall, while the couple’s album has no per-guest photo limit. You can change these settings. Choose visibility and gallery-opening settings that suit you.

From your phone you can hide photos, block a guest or pause the wall. Comments are off by default and never appear on the venue screen. Agree which of you will keep an eye on it so handling something during the evening is straightforward.

Have a simple backup plan

Poor internet can delay the display. Ask guests to keep the camera page open until photos finish uploading. They can also use their normal phone camera and share later while your wedding is still open.

If the screen is unavailable, the camera and album work without it. Camera, album and live wall are included in every size, with a free trial for up to 20 contributing guests. After a paid wedding, you can view and download the gallery for at least 12 months; we give notice before removing it.
